Ten hours. Six modules. One skill you can show someone when you are done.

Every course on TEMPO is built to the same template: 6 modules of 15 lessons, 600 minutes end to end, $600 once. The shape does not change between courses, which means the only thing you are choosing is the subject and the teacher.

The arc

Six modules, each a rung on a ladder from a crude version of the skill to a portfolio-grade one.

  1. MODULE 01
    LOW-RESOLUTION DELIVERABLE

What is the lowest-resolution, most simplified format of this skill? If you were in high school and someone showed you an immediately executable version, what would it look like?

  2. MODULE 02
    BUILDING BLOCK 1 — 25% COMPETENCY

What is the first building block bridging Module 1 and the final assignment? What 3 exercises master it? What deliverable shows development of that block?

  3. MODULE 03
    BUILDING BLOCK 2 — 50% COMPETENCY

What is the second building block? What 3 exercises master it? What deliverable shows development of that block?

  4. MODULE 04
    BUILDING BLOCK 3 — 75% COMPETENCY

What is the third building block? What 3 exercises master it? What deliverable shows development of that block?

  5. MODULE 05
    BUILDING BLOCK 4 — 100% COMPETENCY

What is the final building block? What 3 exercises master it? What deliverable shows development of that block?

  6. MODULE 06
    HIGH-RESOLUTION DELIVERABLE

What is the most refined version of the skill this course offers? What 2–3 deliverables clearly display mastery? What 2–3 exercises prepare someone for that set of portfolio deliverables?

The spine

The same fifteen slots in every module of every course. 24 of the 90 are ours — the breathing, gaze and wind-down work is identical platform wide. The instructor writes the other 66.

15 LESSONS × 6 MODULES = 90 · 100 MIN × 6 = 600 MIN
